Abstract: It’s no secret that writing about science is a crucial skill for any researcher, even in the age of LLMs like Chat GPT. Your manuscripts need to be understandable to other scientists, your peer reviewers, and your editors to be published and eventually achieve many citations. How does readability affect the reception of your work? How can you improve readability? And finally, what kind of articles get into journals like Nature and its sister journals? We’ll talk about the different article types, the intricacies of each audience your writing for, and how to make your work more likeable and understandable to expert and nonexpert readers.
