The Master of Applied Professional Studies (MAPS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is an exciting degree program for adults who are pursuing career advancement or are interested in changing careers. If you are a full-time UNC employee, the University's tuition waiver program can be applied to this program.
 

The MAPS is an interdisciplinary degree that you design yourself to achieve your own specific career goals. It will provide you with a solid foundation and resources to meet your professional needs.
 

The program includes 12 credits of core professional skills courses and 15 credits of electives from at least two UNC departments. It can be completed in as little as one year. You can enroll full-time or part-time and it includes a mix of online and in-person courses.
