 ou have an emergency kit equipped for short-term survival? Have you create
 d an emergency plan with your roommates? Are you familiar with basic first
  aid procedures and fire extinguishing techniques?\n\n \n\nLearn how to pr
 epare yourself and your crew for unforeseen emergencies at the TARRR Heel 
 Preparedness Festival taking place in the Pit on Thursday\, Sept. 19 from 
 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Campus departments\, student groups\, local partners and
  pirates will be on-site to provide information and resources on emergency
  preparedness for the Carolina community.\n\n \n\nParticipants will have a
 n opportunity to engage in hands-on demonstrations\, including proper use 
 of a fire extinguisher\, CPR techniques and learning the basics of bleedin
 g control through the Stop the Bleed program.
