When simple random sampling methods are not practical, surveyors often use complex sampling designs to efficiently obtain information.  Data sets obtained by these methods may include any combination of cluster information, stratum information, weights and populations sizes.  The rationale, source and utilization of this information will be discussed as will be the implication on both expected values an precision of estimators. Registration and fee (refundable for students) are required.
