DESCRIPTION:his is a hybrid event. There are separate registration buttons 
 for in-person and Zoom attendance.\n\nAuthentic community engagement is a 
 key tenet of anti-racism research\, which includes providing ways for comm
 unity members to review and make sense of data. With research coordination
  from UNC’s Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute\, the Educar
 e Learning Network\, a national network of early childhood scholars\, has 
 worked to advance more equitable research practices inclusive of leadershi
 p\, staff\, and families. While we are early childhood researchers\, build
 ing more equitable research practices is essential for all scholars\, rega
 rdless of field of study. In this workshop we present core tenets of anti-
 racism research practice\, share examples of engagement including data lit
 eracy practices and data walks\, and lead participants through a sample da
 ta walk. We highlight our data walk events inviting participants to contex
 tualize findings and co-construct program and policy solutions.\n\n \n\nPr
