🛡️ The U.S. Presidency and National Security Threats
Professor Koh, Sterling Professor of International Law at Yale Law School, brings an extraordinary depth of experience from academia and public service, having served in four U.S. presidential administrations:
✔️ Reagan Administration – Attorney-Adviser, Office of Legal Counsel, U.S. Department of Justice
✔️ Clinton Administration – Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor
✔️ Obama Administration – Legal Adviser, U.S. Department of State
✔️ Biden Administration – Senior Advisor, Office of the Legal Adviser, U.S. Department of State
Professor Koh has also served as Dean of Yale Law School (the 15th in its history) and is a Marshall Scholar. He has been awarded 18 honorary degrees for his contributions to international law and diplomacy.
📖 His latest book, The National Security Constitution in the 21st Century, examines the evolving relationship between the presidency and national security. Harvard’s Laurence Tribe calls it:
