About this Event
How can one neighborhood help strengthen an entire community’s food security? This session invites participants into “planting seeds of support,” showing how simple, neighbor-led action can address hunger in North Carolina and beyond. Through storytelling, local data, and examples from current PORCH chapters, attendees will explore how small, consistent efforts grow into sustained support for local food pantries. The session concludes with an interactive call to action where attendees receive a digital toolkit and learn how to share resources in their own hometowns or networks to inspire new neighborhood-led solutions. Leave equipped to spark community engagement and help plant the next “seed” where it’s needed most.
