Kelly Lytle Hernández is currently the Duke-UNC 2025-2026 Nannerl Keohane Distinguished Visiting Professor. As part of the professorship, Hernández will give a series of talks and events during the academic year. UNC is proud to share that the second of these lectures, “The Whites-Only Immigration Regime: 1896-1952,” will take place on February 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Duke University. Carolina held the first of these lectures during the fall 2025 semester.
