The Hanes Lecture in Bibliography series brings distinguished scholars and practitioners to campus to speak on topics related to the history of books. This semester's lecture will be given by Dr. Bryant Simon, who will present on community-produced publications in the American South, focusing on responses to the 1991 industrial fire at a poultry plant in Hamlet, N.C.
