About this Event
View mapFrom coding in Sitterson to driving innovation at Apple, Netflix, and leading tech companies, Julia Grace (BS, MS ’07) returns to Carolina to share insights on technology’s evolving landscape. Drawing from her journey from software engineer to industry leader, Julia will explore the critical transitions facing today’s tech professionals. We invite alumni to network with students immediately after the talk.
About the speaker: After leaving Chapel Hill and heading west to Silicon Valley 17 years ago, Julia has been: a software engineer, a product manager, started two companies (one died, sold the other), and led engineering teams at Slack, Netflix, and now Apple. She still lives in sunny California, runs on many Bay Area trails, tries to keep up with her ten-year-old daughter and husband, and always closes her rings.
