Join the American Indian Center as we host a film screening of A Sacred Thread with our Elder in Residence Gil Jackson. A Sacred Thread is a PBS documentary that follows the Snowbird Cherokee of western North Carolina as they fight to preserve their language, customs and ancestral traditions. A brief discussion of the documentary will be held after the film, followed by lunch. CLE credit available.
