 uction (NCDPI) and North Carolina Collaboratory led a joint $7.2 million e
 ffort to spur research on the impact of COVID-19 on student learning in ou
 r State\, with the goal of helping educators and students recover from pan
 demic-related disruptions and lost instructional time.\n\nBased on priorit
 ies identified by NCDPI’s Office of Learning Recovery and Acceleration (
 OLR)\, the partnership funded 20 academic research teams across North Caro
 lina to understand the effectiveness of existing State and local programs 
 and policies that were implemented through Elementary and Secondary School
  Emergency Relief (ESSER) legislation.\n\nAt this session\, participants w
 ill learn about the research being done within the network and explore how
  it has the potential to impact future policy decisions within the state.\
