DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to our fourth meeting of Art and t
 he Brain that will take place on December 5th from 6-7:30pm\, with the opt
 ion to attend in person (Marsico Hall\, 6004) and on Zoom! We will have an
  open panel discussion around painting and the brain\, grounded in a discu
 ssion of hemineglect (damage to one hemisphere of the brain) and the works
  of artists who lived with hemineglect. This seminar will focus on fosteri
 ng new discussion about the intersection of science and art\, and question
  how artistic analysis expands our scientific understanding of neurologica
 l disorders. The meeting schedule below includes more information regardin
 g the event's structure and relevant literature. You can also find the sem
 inar syllabus attached to this email. Specific expertise in hemineglect or
  art history is not necessary: bring your own experiences and knowledge!
