AI, for example ChatGPT, may be used to carry out some tasks commonly used by social scientists. Examples include Pearson’s chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test, Student’s t-test, power calculations and non-centrality parameters. The quality of responses has varied to this point and may continue to at the time of the class. Examples will be given.
