As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly woven into teaching, learning and research, questions about academic integrity are more timely and more complex than ever. Join students, faculty and the director of UNC's Office of Student Conduct for a thoughtful, balanced conversation about how AI is shaping academic work, where opportunities and risks lie, and how our shared values can guide responsible use. Audience questions and participation are encouraged.

This is an in‑person only panel taking place in the Wilson Library (Pleasants Family Assembly Room) and will include opportunities for Q&A, discussion, and networking.

Panelists:

  • Moderator: Carrie Baldwin-SoRelle, UNC University Library
  • Jenny Maldonado-Castro, Undergraduate Student, UNC Department of Communication
  • Rei Sanchez-Arias, Teaching Associate Professor and Faculty Director for Master of Applied Data Science, UNC School of Data Science and Society
