Spend a summer evening making art at the Ackland’s 2nd Friday ArtWalk: Twilights on the Terrace.
Drop in to create pen and watercolor paintings inspired by Charlotte-based artist Georgie Nakima, whose installation Pantheress is on view through July 21 in the Ackland’s ART& space. This event is free, all ages, and all materials will be provided. NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Georgie will no longer be able to attend the event.
Throughout the evening, Thirsty Skull Brewing (Siler City and Pittsboro, NC) will sell their local craft beer and a selection of snacks. The Museum galleries will remain open until 9 p.m.
